# Nebula

**Nebula** was an open-source NFT marketplace protocol built on Cardano. It aimed to address common issues in traditional marketplaces, such as high fees and centralized control, empowering creators to retain more profits and ownership of their work. Nebula supported interoperability, user-friendly integration, and the creation of interconnected marketplaces, enabling aggregators and analytics tools across the ecosystem.
